Appendix 3. IP Cameras in different network environments

You can use your notebook or tablet PC to connect to the IP camera through a LAN or Internet. The

following will tell you how to use IP camera under the different configurations.

1. LAN

The camera can be configured for Static or Dynamic IP addresses.

A static IP address means that your camera’s IP address was assigned manually by the administrator.
